Saviynt is pioneering Identity Governance Administration by integrating advanced risk analytics and intelligence with fine-grained privilege management.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned Data Lake Engineering Manager to lead our data lake initiatives and ensure the efficient and secure management of our organization's data assets. The ideal candidatewill have a deep understanding of data lake concepts, hands-on experience with Parquet and Iceberg table formats, and a proven track record of addressing data quality, performance, and security challenges.Responsibilities:Develop and implement data lake strategies and architectures that align with the organization's business objectives.Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and data ingestion processes.Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the data lake lifecycle.Optimize data lake performance and efficiency through techniques like partitioning, indexing, and query optimization.Implement robust data security and governance measures to protect sensitive data.Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.Mentor and guide a team of data engineers and analysts.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data lake management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on data lake technologies.Hands-on experience with Parquet and Iceberg table formats.Strong understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts.Proficiency in data modeling, ETL, and data pipelines.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data lake services.Knowledge of data security and governance best practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience with data lake analytics tools (e.g., Athena, Presto).Knowledge of machine learning and AI frameworks.Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).Certifications in data engineering or cloud technologies.Benefits:Saviynt is an amazing place to work.
