**Job Description**
Danfoss in Plymouth, MN is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our R&D department. The Engineering Manager will work in the CCS (Connect & Control Solutions) Business Unit and report to the Director of Engineering. The Engineering Manager will lead fellow engineers to develop and support display and connect solutions products, and to collaborate with other CCS locations.
**Job Responsibilities**
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Lead fellow engineers with a broad-based knowledge of engineering disciplines, understanding of business, and effective leadership.
+ Organizes, prioritizes, and completes work assignments with quality and in a timely manner for self and others.
+ Establish a collaborative environment by facilitating communication, building a team atmosphere and recognizing and fostering individual and team development.
+ Build and support a customer-focused environment, aid in defining goals, identify training and education needs, remove barriers, delegate responsibility/authority as appropriate, monitor progress of the team, encourage continuous improvement and recognize the performance of team members.
+ Lead the team to achieve safety, total quality in the product, delivery and cost.
**Background & Skills**
**Required (basic) qualifications** –
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
+ 5+ years’ Hardware Engineering experience
+ Must be able to work in the US, without sponsorship, both now and in the future
**Preferred qualifications** –
+ 10+ years’ Hardware Engineering experience
+ Previous leadership experience
+ Previous display or telematics product experience a plus
