\nThe team is currently seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team and ensure that the property is ready to welcome our guests! This role manages the functionality and safety of the facility, including the physical building(s), mechanical equipment, electrical system(s), heating and cooling systems, and life safety systems in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Assigns work, supervises staff, and verifies and documents the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system. Directs outside contractors, communicates with city officials, and inspects quality of work by staff. Responds and coordinates responses to guest calls and emergency situations. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules, and evaluates staff.
\nThe ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:
\n\nAt least two years of experience working in engineering within hotel operations. \nWorking knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry including repairs and troubleshooting.\nRefrigeration experience and EPA certification are a plus. \nThe ability to work weekdays, mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.\n\nThe salary range for this position is $78,000-80,000 based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
