We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager II to join our Cloud Infrastructure team. In this role, you will lead a team of six engineers, focusing on building internal tools for incident management and infrastructure automation.
Where you'll work: This is a hybrid position and requires in-office collaboration twice per week in West Hollywood, California. You will:Lead a team of 6 engineers to maintain existing and develop new tools to improve our incident management process and automation.Identify manual tasks and develop tools to automate them.Define and own platform objectives and key metrics, developing a strategic roadmap for your team.Collaborate with cross-functional/platform teams to execute the roadmap, delivering high-quality results promptly.Drive technical, design and product discussions with teams across the organization to define and scope requirements.Establish the technical direction for the team and lead the team to achieve it.Mentor and coach your team for career development.Recruit and assemble a world-class backend team.You'll Need: 7+ years of professional experience building scalable backend services.2+ year(s) of experience leading engineering teams.Experience with Python, Go, Javascript or a similar language.Cloud platform experience: AWS, GCP or AzureProven experience as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer or a similar role.Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to inspire and motivate the team to exceed expectations.Nice to Have: Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)Comfortable working with legacy code and implementing effective strategies for improvement.Ability to communicate and implement solutions-oriented improvement.Experience collaborating within a small team while working interdependently within a cross-functional organization.$200,000 - $230,000 a yearThe salary range for this position is $200,000 - $230,000.  Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in West Hollywood. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.Commitment to Inclusion
