Engineering Manager II, Container Platform
Uber is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team within our Container Platform Infrastructure group. As a manager within Infrastructure you will have a significant impact on the evolution of Uber's backend teams and architecture. Our mission is to make transportation as reliable as running water, and we are looking for a passionate manager to build the dependable foundation that supports that vision. The Container Platform team’s mission is to build the next generation of Uber’s container orchestration platform that is secure, reliable, scalable, and highly efficient. At Uber we have a complex infrastructure spanning both data centers and cloud, supporting a diverse variety of workloads (stateless, batch, stateful) each different in its characteristics and requirements. Including 5+ years in - managing engineering teams of 10+ people. - Ability to lead teams in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and collaborate with stakeholder and sister teams in the US. - Hiring prowess.
