SUMMARY:
This position is responsible to manage the Manufacturing Engineering function for our Bayport Doors Manufacturing plant, supporting our Door Plant Manager along with the Doors Business Team. Assigned plant is large and complex with multiple value streams to support.
The primary goal for this leader is to ensure that we continue to build and lead a team that can help execute the strategic initiatives for the Andersen Division, support the operational excellence initiatives for the plant, drive multi-year capital and capacity planning; site planning; talent planning; and support plant continuous efforts to achieve operational metrics.
This position also ensures that the assigned team is operated in accordance with Andersen Corporation’s values, employee covenant, and strategic direction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
4-year degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Science, MIS, or related field 7-10 years related management experience. Experience with budgeting, leading cost savings initiatives and driving value into a manufacturing operation. Senior leadership level presentation skillsNICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
MBA/MS preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, capital equipment procurement, supply chain material and information flow, line balancing and quality programs and initiatives.CULTURE AND BENEFITS:

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
