\n\n\nSupport the continued growth of the Qualtrics XM customer base by building and leading a team of talented and passionate software development engineers based in Mexico.\nLeverage your experience in the full spectrum of activities involved in building and scaling product teams.\nFocus on developing our Mexico expansion into an engineering hub.\nTake on a zero to one leadership role, interacting across Qualtrics product engineering leadership.\nAct as a site owner to drive team and cultural fitness.\n\n\n

Things You’ll Do

\n\n\nOwn the engineering roadmap for the product and work with stakeholders to build quarterly plans.\nActively manage teams of employees—gathering and providing candid feedback, mentoring, and coaching individuals while delegating appropriately.\nInstill best practices for software development and documentation, ensuring designs meet requirements and deliver high-quality work on time.\nDrive planning meetings, collaborate with peers, prioritize features, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to customers.\nGuide your team in developing scalable and robust SaaS and PaaS products to solve complex business problems.\nWork directly with our global clients to provide solutions and ensure a great customer experience.\nHelp grow the Mexico site and global team of software engineers, implementing hiring plans and career development strategies for the engineering team.\n\n\n

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

\n\n\nProven experience managing and coaching software developers, from graduate level to seasoned professionals.\nProactive and able to deliver on initiatives you start; you have a proven record of driving results.\nStrong background in object-oriented design and development with languages such as Java, .NET, C#, Python, Ruby, or C++.\nExperience building, owning, and operating highly scalable and highly available internet-facing software services.\nExpertise in modern web development technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Ruby on Rails) and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, D3).\nExperience as a site leader or supporting large global teams.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\n8+ years of experience as a software engineer and software engineering manager.\n\n\n
