Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories seeks an Engineering Manager to support our process engineering team in our brand-new printed circuit board factory. We are considering candidates from multiple disciplines with management experience.
In this onsite position, you will work with an energetic engineering team responsible for automation, chemical, imaging, and mechanical processes that produce high-quality printed circuit boards. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing engineering teams, is highly disciplined, and works well in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:30PM – 11PM
As an Engineering Manager, a typical day might include the following:
Leading teams on discipline/technology/process, keeping quality, production, cost and performance objectives in mind.
Assisting long-term production and technology strategy.
Performing management activities to attract, hire, supervise, and develop individual contributors to meet the goals of the group.
Participating at external meetings and presenting at large internal meetings/forums.
Modeling, teaching, and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
This job might be for you if:
You have a B.S. in an Engineering field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
You have 8+ years of related engineering or management experience.
You show a strong technical knowledge in one or more engineering disciplines/technologies.
You have a demonstrated ability to design/produce/support successful products/processes.
You can manage product line/process problems requiring creativity, ingenuity, and guidance from manager.
You have a strong desire to develop employees and lead projects.
You can define general approaches and specific solutions to technical problems.

Pay Range Data:
New hires generally start between $91,100 - $142,700. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
