We are seeking an Engineering Program Manager to manage government sales opportunities and proposals.
This role involves estimating costs, managing proposals, and collaborating with various teams to achieve goals.
Building strong relationships with government customers is essential.
Responsibilities:
Opportunity Selection: Review and select government sales opportunities based on capability, competition, history, and expertise.Cost Estimation: Estimate labor, material costs, and profitability for new business ventures.Proposal Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of proposals, including analyzing requests, preparing responses, and collaborating with SMEs.Team Leadership: Lead the team through the proposal process.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to achieve common goals.Customer Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with government customers.Market Awareness: Stay current with market dynamics, including competition, pricing, and lead times.Compliance: Ensure proposals meet U.S. Government standards.Process Improvement: Implement actions to improve efficiency and report on key metrics.Continuous Improvement: Develop plans for continuous improvement projects.Customer Engagement: Build relationships with customers to resolve issues and improve contract win rates.Travel: Travel to customers and events as needed.Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Economics.Experience: 8+ years in government contracts and proposals.Industry Knowledge: Experience in manufacturing/production and familiarity with U.S. Federal Government agencies and procurement processes.Regulations: Knowledge of US Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs/DFARs).Preferred: Experience in the aerospace defense industry.Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
