The Job:   

As a Engineering Project Manager, you’ll be part of our Tools and Outdoor Product Cost & Productivity team working as a hybrid employee.  You’ll get to:    

As an Engineering Project Manager within Engineering, you’ll be part of our Product Cost & Productivity COE team located in Towson. You’ll get to: 

Prioritize non-NPD project key drivers that affect overall project delivery and adherence to established objectives.Coordinate necessary data acquisition across multiple global data sources to provide strategic direction and solve problems.  Identify any roadblocks & eliminate these through working creatively within team to provide solutions.Develop and lead monthly non-NPD project reviews to drive awareness & ownership of non-NPD projects throughout the global business.Track key KPI’s - Project Status on Time, On Cost Measures, Capex Plans and Status, Project Resource Utilization / Spend per project.Report out business metrics and statistics on projects.Take complicated initiatives and breaking them into actionable sub-projects to drive progress.Develop and present project updates to senior management.Summarize project progress to drive action from team members.

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.8 years of experience in Project Management or Product Development.Effective problem-solving, business financial and analytical skills.Ability to effectively lead meetings, set agenda, document minutes, and monitor/track key deliverables, attended by multiple stakeholders, and SMEs across multiple business units, product lines or business processes.Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project and SmartSheets as well as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel Pivot Tables, SharePoint, Power BI).Ability to support the needs of and interact appropriately with global cross-functional personnel.  Exceptional multi-tasking skills. Attention to details always.  Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills. Maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships and possesses sensitivity and acts appropriately with varying cultural societies.Ability to travel as needed.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $93,000.00 – 130,700.00 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
