Position Overview:

We're seeking an Engineering Project Specialist will be a resourceful problem solver working within the Self Driving Systems organizations interfacing collaboratively with cross functional Engineering PLM, CAD and Physicitics team members.    

The Engineering Project Specialist will work with our client who is the world’s foremost self-driving technology expert in areas like machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced sensor technologies for autonomous vehicles.  They are launching the world’s first fully self-driving transportation service that will take members of the public from here to there with a simple touch of a button.

Responsibilities Include:
Generate, analyze and distribute EBOM exports from PLM system Administer component release and change controls processes Ensure data alignment between CAD, PLM, and EBOM Coordinate with Engineering and Systems teams to ensure BOM data is complete, accurate and current Import and export data to and from vendor partners Data entry as required for engineering changes Develop and/or manage software macros for data transfer and reporting Provide regular status communication to management and team members Participate in technical discussions and decisions with team members and design partners Create Sheets-based (Excel-based) assessments and analyses as required. Utilizing pivot tables and summary graphs to communicate status / results. All analyses will be conducted in G-Suite, but MS Office products could be provided to support
Your Qualifications:

Industry experience in complex BOM management
Highly attentive to details, with mathematical skills in spreadsheet analysis and evaluation
Strong communication and team working skills
Experience administering or utilizing EBOM or MBOM for complex products
Basic understanding of product development and manufacturing processes
Experience using CAD, PLM system, especially ENOVIA or Agile
Understanding of change control processes
Ability to write macros using javascript or other code (not required but a plus)
Experience working with engineering design release systems and processes
Experience with automotive systems
