Job Summary:

The Engineering Purchasing Support Specialist is responsible for handling engineering purchase requests and invoicing activities. This role involves processing purchase orders, managing supplier communications, and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Where is the work: 

This position has been designated as full-time, On-Site at our Minneapolis, MN facility and is considered safety-sensitive.

What you will do:

Purchase Request Handling: Process and manage engineering purchase requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Supplier Communication: Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm orders, and track delivery schedules. Invoicing Activities: Handle invoicing activities, including verifying invoices against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information. Data Entry: Input and update procurement data in the company's ERP or procurement software system. Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and purchasing teams to support overall procurement goals and objectives.

What you will bring: 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within a purchasing or procurement environment. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Basic knowledge of procurement processes and terminology. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Customer service-oriented mindset. Experience with ERP or procurement software systems and inventory management principles is a plus

Compensation:   

Base Pay Range: $50,000-65,000/annually
