Engineering Services Technician

Our Engineering Services Technician role focuses on managing the asset lifecycle, servicing and maintaining plant equipment, and managing the allocation of plant resources across the North Island. This role will be based Auckland or Taranaki and will require travel around the North Island on a regular basis.

Requirements:

Certification and 10+ years of Mechanical/ Fitter, or diesel mechanic experience is required to be successful in this role Good computer literacy and proven Microsoft Excel skills A full driver’s license A good level of physical fitness as the role involves heavy lifting, climbing ladders and scaffolding, etc. Ability to travel for work as required by business demands “On tools” capability

 

Desirable:

MEX Software experience is highly regarded Knowledge of regulations around pressure equipment or PECPR regulations is highly regarded Knowledge and experience working with plant and equipment, mechanical systems, compressors, and abrasive blasting equipment Knowledge of industrial contracting services, with emphasis on pressure vessels, pneumatics, and electrical equipment A class 2 and/or forklift license Understanding of HSE responsibilities A team player who understands the importance of teamwork Good communication skills
