Job summary – What to expect:
As a Engineering Spares Supply Coordinator working within Supply and Inventory, the post holder will be expected to plan and execute timely procurement spending from suppliers for UK Manufacturing Engineering sites.
You will have regular contact with our suppliers, supporting sourcing strategies, daily ordering and expediting to ensure no stock-outs causing manufacturing downtime.
You will also be responsible for:
Execution of replenishment processes to maintain Engineering Spares inventory levels across all UKM sites in line with set inventory and business continuity targets. Any supply issues to be communicated / escalated as appropriate. Utilisation of KPIs, status reports, tracking tools and own analysis to ensure timely replenishment of inventory and expediting of deliveries with Suppliers. Maintenance of Engineering Spares business information and item master data ensuring integrity and accuracy of the ERP inventory management system data. Close working with Procurement, Suppliers and Warehouse teams to provide robust, visible supply chains. Ensure responsive service, communication and understanding of requirements is achieved with UKM BU engineering and maintenance teams. Provide a focal point for Engineering Spares query handling.

About you:
We are looking for someone who has strong IT skills, specifically in Excel with the ability to create pivot tables and use the V look-up function. Having good analytic skills will be key in this role as well as the ability to process and interpret data.
Working with a broad range of internal CooperVision staff as well as external suppliers, the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively will be key to your success in this position.
Experience:
ERP system user within a Supply Chain environment Experience of complex inventory management and logistics, preferably within a manufacturing environment Data processing, data analysis and administration Order processing and expediting Exposure to Supply Chain planning and purchasing Cross-functional working and strong communicator across disciplines
Education:
Degree or relevant experience required
