As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. In our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. You'll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and love.

You'll have... 

Education: High School Diploma Experience: Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends Ability to work independently with limited supervision Capable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms safety, quality, and throughput Strong organizational and administrative skills Ability to multi-task Strong mechanical background Basic understanding of internal transmission components and interaction Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills Ability to read blue prints and identify suspect problematic features Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/SharePoint)   Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills Ability to comprehend and achieve Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

Even better, you may have experience...

Education: Associates or a Degree in the engineering field  Powertrain experience preferred Safety experience preferred Prior experience managing a unionized work force Prior Quality experience preferred

What you'll do...

Coach Safety, Quality and Productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized work React immediately to quality issues Initiate sort/purge/contain activities as needed Monitor andon occurrences. Be the first responder to quality concerns as they arise Support Continuous Improvement and coach problem resolution to the lowest level of the organization Communication and recognition Build Team Member capability Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks Basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents Optimize outputs in accordance with budgets and cost objectives  Support concern resolution with cross-functional teams, including the Quality department, production, and suppliers.
