Are you ready to make your mark?  We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Supervisor who will specialize in providing technical troubleshooting support to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively organizing, directing, and coordinating resources in line with our business and enterprise objectives. Additionally, the Engineering Supervisor will play a vital role in providing guidance and mentorship to our team of Operations Specialist Machinists.

Supports technical problem solving and provides solutions in machining environmentEnsures team adheres to standard workActively motivates direct reports and team/project membersLeads strategic projects for functional areaCollaborates with others on continuous process improvement and cost reduction plansDevelops, reviews, and maintains staffing requirementsConducts annual performance evaluations, development, discipline, and terminations

What We Are Looking For 

A bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) Technical/Science or its international equivalent is a mandatory requirement. In lieu of a degree, candidates must have a minimum of 6-8 years of equivalent experience in the relevant field.Minimum 2+ years of Engineering experience in a related field required.Previous leadership experience is required (e.g. direct leadership, team lead, mentoring, projects, etc.).Specific knowledge in machining environment including turning, horizontal, and vertical machining.Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement and problem solving.Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively and follow through on assigned tasks, with a strong track record of meeting deadlines.Ability to make timely decisions with sometimes incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage projects with department-level scope and impact.
