Engineering Supervisor
**Hours of Work :** 40 **Days Of Week :** 5 **Work Shift :** 8X5 Day (United States of America) **Job Description :** Your Job: The primary purpose of this position: Responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted supply of utilities and medical gas services throughout the facility. Supervises Physical Plant employees in the maintenance of equipment and buildings. Coordinates and supervises assigned on-site renovations and remodeling projects. This role Supports and promotes the vision, mission, and strategic plans of Methodist Health System Your Job Requirements: • 10 years and 2 years’ experience in Healthcare facility required • Working knowledge of boilers, HVAC systems, electrical power generation and distribution equipment and systems, refrigeration systems, medical gas systems, and fire alarm and signaling systems. • Proficient in all building systems • Capable of leading and directing assigned personnel in professional, enthusiastic, positive and cost-effective manners • Capable of developing and implementing administrative and organizational procedures Your Job Responsibilities: • Communicate clearly and openly • Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment • Be accountable for your performance • Always look for ways to improve the patient experience • Take initiative for your professional growth • Be engaged and eager to build a winning team • Adheres to established safety regulations and guidelines to ensure that work is carried out in an effective and safe manner. • Assumes operational responsibility of the department in the absence of the Director • Monitors and facilitates the work of outside contractors performing repairs and/or installations at Methodist Health System facilities. • Plans projects through meetings with customer departments, Architects, Physical Plant Director, Contractors and Sub-Contractors • Responsible for completion of projects in a timely manner in compliance with appropriate state, federal, and local codes and standards. • Responsible for completion of reports and documentation of required testing of various systems. • Responsible for performance evaluations • Responsible for work schedules for maintenance personnel • Supervises and coordinates the daily activities of Physical Plant personnel to ensure the completion of repair and preventative maintenance work orders. **Methodist Richardson Medical Center** **is a 443-bed, full-service, acute care hospital that serves Richardson, Garland, Plano, and surrounding areas in Dallas and Collin counties.
