Engineering Talent Development Leader
Job Description SummaryThe Engineering Talent Development Leader will be responsible for all early career talent development including managing the global Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) in Wind. This leader will own the mission, strategy, and development of technical training & development experiences to build high performing early career talent. In addition, they will act to support the Wind Engineering team globally with technical talent development, responsible for early career technical development in Wind Engineering.

Essential Responsibilities:

Define the mission, strategy and vision of the Edison ProgramDevelop and execute an early career talent strategy from recruitment, candidate selection, and technical training/experiences for interns, EEDP as well as direct hiresDevelop and leverage a variety of talent development experiences from classroom/virtual training, on the job experiences, and field/hands-on learning.Act as EEDP program point of contact with Engineering Management, Human Resources Managers and Corporate teamsTrain and guide Regional EEDP Leaders to facilitate program in regional sites, ensuring consistent experience for all program members globally across the businessOwn global recruitment, including: identify headcount, identify major technical training needs with Engineering Leadership and supporting the global/regional recruitment of program members with Regional EEDP LeadersFacilitate global rotation solicitation, matching process, project solicitation, Assignment Leader feedback, and Assignment Leader training with Regional Leaders Own EEDP MGP, annual and quarterly goals and progress.Own EEDP/ACE Policy and updates and oversee ACE activities, leverage learning to other early career talent as appropriate.Manage and track overall global budget and finance for program members and management.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or universityMinimum 5 years of experience in an engineering positionMinimum 2 years of experience in an engineering management position

Experience in rotational programDetailed-oriented and with strong project management skillsDemonstrated passion for learning and trainingKnowledge of GE Vernova products and organization, ideally with at least 2 years of experience in WindStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and organization skillsStrong curiosity and desire to learn
