mission is our Markets Team, which develops and maintains top-tier market data
pages and innovative financial tools. We deliver comprehensive market news,
real-time data, and insightful analytics to our users, driving the markets

As the Team Lead, you’ll oversee the technical projects of your team, ensuring they are
delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
You'll work closely with modern web technologies, including front-end
frameworks like React and React Native for building responsive and interactive
user interfaces, back-end systems for processing and serving real-time market
data, and data visualization libraries for creating compelling charts and
graphs. Your role will involve developing and improving various aspects of our
market data platform, from user-facing features to backend data processing,
while mentoring and guiding your team members to grow their skills and
expertise.
Success in this position requires not only technical expertise but also exceptional
leadership and people management skills. You'll work closely with diverse teams
across Product, Design, Engineering, and Editorial departments, building strong
relationships and driving collaboration. Your ability to communicate
effectively, manage priorities, and drive projects forward while coaching and
developing your team members will be central.

stack.
· Evaluate and implement emerging web technologies, developing a
roadmap for technical growth and improvement.
· Champion best practices and maintain exceptional code quality
standards, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive projects forward,
and mentor junior developers to contribute to the team's technical growth.
**You'll need to have:**
· 4+ years of experience leading technical teams, with expertise in
Javascript/TypeScript and modern web development frameworks like React.

A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a similar
field of study or equivalent work experience.
·
A proven track record of building high-performing teams, driving
technical strategy, and delivering complex projects on time.
**We'd love to see:**
· A deep understanding of browser internals and performance
optimization techniques, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive
technical decisions.

Experience driving A/B testing and data-driven decision making,
with a focus on using data to inform technical strategy.
·
Understanding of accessibility standards and a proven track record
of implementing accessible components.
·
A strong understanding of SEO principles and cloud infrastructure
management (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
·
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills,
with the ability to drive technical decisions and influence cross-functional
teams.
·
Experience mentoring junior developers and a passion for growing
technical talent, with a strong foundation in software development principles
and practices.

Familiarity with the full software development life cycle,
including technical design and implementation.
·
Curiosity and passion for understanding complex financial products
and learning new technologies.
·
A collaborative attitude, eager to work across team and department
boundaries.
