As a Senior Engineering Technician at Donaldson, you will analyze products that protect the environment and advance filtration for a cleaner world. Specifically in this role, you will be responsible for determining procedures and executing tests on fuel injector equipment as well as fabricating components and assemblies for hydraulic, diesel engine, and alternative power products.

This role is located at our Bloomington, MN office.
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct specialized testing which has no written procedures (lab and field)
Operate and maintain test equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency of testing
Fabrication: machining, filter manufacturing, welding, engine modifications, vehicle systems
Build prototypes
Retrofit vehicles with Donaldson products and data acquisition
Troubleshoot test bench circuits, field equipment systems, and components
Adapt procedures, processes, and equipment to meet complex test requirements
Oversee equipment calibration and advanced test bench maintenance
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Effectively communicate technical information
Travel: up to 10% of the time
Minimum Qualifications:
Technical associate degree
7 years working experience as a technician
Demonstrated mechanical/technical aptitude
Advanced knowledge of test equipment and test standards
Demonstrated understanding of dynamic relationships within test and measurement systems
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Fabrication experience in multiple disciplines
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical experience in fluid handling, filtration, or diesel engines
Advanced computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office, Windows-based Software, etc.)
Understanding data logging equipment, dosing systems, and injector characterization stations
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness of data collection
Organizational skills and ability to multi-task

Hourly Pay Range: $26.25 - $33.13, depending on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.
