Essential Responsibilities:

Provide Technical Leadership for the design and manufacturing support of nuclear fuel and packagingBe responsible for team resource planning and assignmentsPartner with business teams to provide work planning, scheduling, risks and technical support for customer deliverablesWork within a team environment and have accountability for delivering products and services on-time and on-budgetInterface with internal and external customers, suppliers, partners, licensing, and regulatory authorities on technical issuesMentor in area of expertise to less experienced engineersBe responsible for oversight of the product technology decisions and provide timely communications on significant issues or developmentsWork across engineering teams to assure effective interdisciplinary design interfaces are established and maintained, resolve interdisciplinary issues, plan/support independent design reviewsPerform work in compliance with NRC regulated policies and proceduresMeet customer commitments and drive continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or universityMinimum 8 years of experience in a technology or engineering role

Eligibility Requirements:

The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters Wilmington, NC but qualified remote candidates will be considered.This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to U.S. export-controlled technology.  GE will require proof of U.S. person status prior to employment.

The base pay range for this position is $112 - 160k. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 11/13/2024.

The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
