The Boeing Global Services organization is seeking a **Engineering Technical Specialist** for an exciting opportunity with the C-17 Fleet deficiency reporting and analysis Team in Warner Robins, GA. The C-17 platform is a mature airlifter for air forces of the United States and allied countries. This position plays an important role in ensuring that C-17 aircraft continue to be reliable and mission capable.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions with in the C-17 Deficiency Reporting (DR) Process.
+ Ensuring DR Initial Response contractual requirements are being met
+ Lead evaluation of internal/external customers/operational needs to the C-17 DR process functional and program interfaces
+ Interface with program leadership and the customer on technical design DR issues
+ As an Integrator, you will co-lead the C-17 DR process and will communicate with all the internal/external stakeholders
+ Assist the internal/external stakeholders (Engineering/Program Quality, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality with the Deficiency Reporting Work Flow (DRWF))
+ Troubleshoot and make Improvements DRWF
+ Must be structured, detailed oriented, organized and process oriented
+ Work directly with the Warner Robins SPO/DCMA and Deficiency Reporting Working Group) counterparts
+ Process DR worksheets in DRWF and Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS) – Technical Dialogs
+ Assist with the DR Quarterly Reviews minutes/action items and process next steps in JDRS
+ Assist providing status on the Preliminary Disposition when requested by the Product Improvement Management (PIM) office from the USAF/FMS bases.
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience with Government Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS)
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
+ Knowledge Supply Chain of movement of parts
+ Knowledge of the Supplier Management (Procurement Agent) process
+ Knowledge of the Heavy Maintenance (Aircraft Depot)
+ Knowledge of the Technical Order Process
+ Knowledge of the Time Compliance Technical Order Process
+ Able to communicate at all levels (Program Management, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Program/Supplier Quality, Technical Data, Maintenance and Modifications)
+ Knowledge of Air Force Maintenance practices

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
**Summary pay range (Mid-Level - Level 3): $71,400 – 96,600**
