Amee Bay, LLC., a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Engineering Technician - SONAR to provide technical support and engineering services to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center to join our team in Norfolk, VA.

Position Responsibilities:

The Engineering Technician will provide technical assessment/inspection support, engineering and technical services, and program/logistics support for AN/SQQ-89 and associated equipment/subsystems both ship/land based site installations, also provide technical assessment/inspection support, engineering technical services, and program/logistics support for AN/SQQ-89 and associated equipment/subsystems both ship and land based site installations.Draft Material Assessment Forms (MAF), Technical Assistance Visit Reports (TAVR) and providing INSURV reports using PRISMS program/software.Review, assess, maintain and provide recommendations for revisions, updates and changes for all technical documentation relative to the systems listed above.Provide scheduling, coordination and documentation (including TAAS or current system in use) of the MARMC technical assistance and assessment support process.

Position Requirements:

US Citizen.Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance; Candidates currently possessing an Active Secret Clearance (or higher) are preferred.High School Diploma or Equivalent.A minimum of Six (6) years troubleshooting, evaluating, repair and general experience with the AN/SQQ89 Sonar System and associated equipment.Must be able to assess AN/SQQ89 system architecture, computer processing system interfaces to locate and correct shipboard faults.

Position is located in Norfolk, VA.

The hourly wage for this position is $33.00 based on experience.
