Job ResponsibilitiesYou will be a member of the Engineering Support Team. This team provides support to a variety of engineering groups by running tests, collecting test data, troubleshooting test issues, and general support across multiple labs. You will be responsible for communicating directly with the engineer when supporting them. Previous R&D lab experience is preferred. Position requires the ability to analyze and understand necessary tasks and to be able to carry those tasks through completion with minimal supervision.
Support various engineering teams to collect data for product/design validation Support various engineering teams with hardware and software setup on lab stations Test, bring-up, debug, and re-work prototype and reference boards. Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment Assist in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test setups Create & implement test procedures based on specification data requirements Provide engineers with test data summaries in an understandable and complete mannerQualifications AAS degree or relevant experience in a related field Basic understanding of Ohm’s Law and electronic theory Experience in SMT soldering of components at least 0201 size Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, DC power supplies, etc. Proficiency with Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
