Job Description
Join our innovative team as an Engineering Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and testing complex electro-mechanical Class II medical devices. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and production projects to ensure that instruments are built, tested, and verified to the highest standards. Propose improvements to the build processes and collaborate with the engineering team to resolve complex technical issues.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot complex technical issues during instrument build activities.Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve technical challenges.Support NPI and production projects, ensuring high-quality standards.Propose and implement build improvements for enhanced instrument performance.Essential SkillsStrong foundation in mechanical and electrical engineering with a focus on hardware, systems integration, and troubleshooting.Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing electromechanical devices.Demonstrated experience in building and troubleshooting complex devices.Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with the optics field, including imagers, lasers, and lens components.Preferred experience with LYNX.Proficiency in Windows, Excel, and Managed File Transfer (MFT).Ability to read work instructions and perform basic Excel tasks.Familiarity with cabling, wiring harnesses, and connectors.Work Environment
You will work in a manufacturing environment focused on the assembly of medical devices. The workday begins at 6 am and ends at 2:30 pm. You will be part of a single line, contributing to a dynamic and innovative atmosphere that welcomes self-starters and problem solvers.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
