Engineering Technician

The Engineering Technician will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting new electronic products, maintaining accurate data packages for each product, and diagnosing, documenting, and testing field units to return them to service.

Pay: $23-$29 Hourly

Top 3 Must Haves:

Associate degree in Electronics (Bachelor’s degree preferred) OR Electronic Technician certification or equivalent certification/licensure.In-depth understanding of electronics principles and design.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and test electronic components based on verbal or written instructions, diagrams, and specifications.Record data with a high level of accuracy for each product.Document defects in new products and complete RMA teardown reports for field returns.Conduct Environmental Stress Screening using Vibration and Thermal Chambers.Scan and fill out travelers for each job performed accurately.Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

In-depth understanding of electronics principles and design.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Detail-oriented and highly organized.Strong problem-solving abilities.Capability to follow complex directions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00
