Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to assemble and test complex mechanical and electrical systems in a cleanroom environment. You will support process improvements, engineering testing, lean initiatives, and quality improvements. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in the semiconductor industry.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble and test complex mechanical/electrical systems in a cleanroom environment.Support process improvements, engineering testing, lean initiatives, and quality improvements.Produce products in accordance with established specifications.Observe and report ongoing problems in the construction of products or their operation, and support the resolution of these problems.Contribute to the improvement of products and processes.Manufacture and deliver high-level, complex systems according to established procedures.Solve technical problems that occur during production.Set an example for other team members and oversee the total process from assembly through to testing.Act as a reference source for problem-solving in your area of expertise.Contribute to the pilot production process and transition to volume production.Develop and improve technical process documentation, processes, records, and other relevant topics.Investigate the impact of new procedures on the production process before implementation.Provide constructive ideas for product improvement.Acquire and pass on relevant expertise about new and established products, processes, modifications, sub-modules, and complete systems.Support good teamwork by seeking solutions and implementing departmental tasks.Coordinate production activities as per the production plan and monitor the practical situation.Closely control the use of tools, materials, and equipment.Essential SkillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints.Proficiency in mechanical and electrical assembly.Experience with lean manufacturing, kaizen, and process improvement.Strong testing and troubleshooting skills.Experience working in a cleanroom environment.Knowledge of electronics and schematic interpretation.Proficiency with hand tools and test equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsAS or BS Degree preferred (Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemical) or equivalent experience.Manufacturing internship or co-op experience.Lean Manufacturing Training (e.g., Intro to Lean, 5S, Kaizen, VSM) preferred.Strong mechanical skills.Work Environment
We offer multiple shifts to accommodate your schedule, including 2nd Shift (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Mon-Fri) with a 10% shift differential, 3rd Shift (10:00 pm to 6:30 am, Sun-Thurs) with a 15% shift differential, and CWW Days and Nights with daily overtime. Shifts include D1, D2, N1, and N2 with varying weekly schedules. You will work in a cleanroom environment. Training will be provided for all shifts during the first two weeks on 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, onsite. Enjoy benefits such as a week's vacation and six holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00
