**Description** SAIC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an entry-level **Engineering Technician** in North Charleston, SC. **Job Duties:** + Installing equipment into racks, labeling cables, running cables. + Read and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams to effectively interconnect rack components. + Identify and report design or fitment issues and work with drafters and engineers to resolve issue quickly to minimize production delays. + Must be able to multitask and adapt to rapid changes that are made during the build process. + Provide technical support during system testing. **Qualifications** **Required Education and Experience:** + High school education or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years related experience + Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). **Required Security Clearance:** + The ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance **Desired Skills:** + Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills. + Candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a team environment and able to take direction and constructive criticism.
