**Job Description:** + Assists Mechanical Engineers with designs, and creates, tests, and manufactures machinery, consumer products, and other equipment. + Applies knowledge of mechanical engineering technology under direction of engineering and scientific staff. + Work is more limited in scope and more practically oriented than that of scientists and engineers. + Handles various department administrative duties and tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems on customers’ products returned from the field by performing the following duties: **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following as listed. Other duties may be assigned. **Technician tasks:** + Test and calibrate AMS instrumentation to specifications using test procedures and schematics. + Troubleshoot and repair semi‐complex instruments with minimal guidance and direction. + Writes technical reports to describe product failure and repair resolution. + Analyzes and interprets test data. + Record test results per Quality requirements and ISO standards + Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and safety guidelines + Demonstrate consistent high proficiency and job performance level, along with the ability to perform with minimal errors.
