Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Engineering Technician to join our team! In this role you will work with a dedicated project team to drive forward maintenance and optimization initiatives at a complex environmental remediation site.

What You'll Be Doing:

Respond to non-routine equipment breakdowns.Work independently and with craft disciplines, engineers, and environmental technicians to troubleshoot pumping systems & diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.Leverage operational data and field observations to assess pump performance and investigate issues with pumps, piping, and valves.Troubleshoot and program control equipment including VFDs, Honeywell Controllers, Level control systems, and PLCsConduct routine equipment inspections and testing. Provide additional project field support as needed.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology or related field (or equivalent related training/certification if applicable) and typically 2+ years experience.Prior experience with pumps and piping systemsPrior experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
 

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Prior experience with different level control systemsPrior experience with VFDs and PLCs

Salary Range: 

$21.44 - $37.55
