A typical Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting test development and execution while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. **You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities** + Conduct safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations + Exercise responsibility for thoroughness, timeliness and accuracy of work performed + Support New Product Development – Quality & Reliability teams through test execution, documentation, and data analysis + Maintain agility and support multiple requests within designated projects while maintaining priority organization and efficiency + Follow work instructions and test fixture procedures + Prepare efficient test procedures from test specifications + Perform hands-on testing using a variety of electrical and mechanical test equipment and techniques + Prepare reports utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, databases, spreadsheets and statistical / graphical software + Participate in the improvement and development of testing, equipment, and documents + Maintain test procedures and equipment according to departmental procedures + Support the purchase, transfer, and shipping of equipment and materials + Contribute to organizational goals and objectives **The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:** + Requires an education equivalent to a technical Associate Degree + Excellent organization & communication skills + Experience with test equipment, test procedures and methods, technical writing, mechanical/electrical principles + High proficiency of Computer Skills and Microsoft Office products + Knowledge of test concepts in the design and development of products and components. **Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:** + Experience working with product development or design + Experience working with data acquisition and test instrumentation + Experience with technical writing **We provide these great perks and benefits:** + Robust health, dental and vision insurance plans + Generous 401 (K) savings plan + Education assistance + On-site wellness, fitness center, food, and coffee service + And many more, check out our benefits site HERE (https://www.milwaukeetool.jobs/Benefits) .
