Job Description An employer is seeking an Engineering Tester for a contract to hire opportunity in the Columbus, OH area. These technicians will be joining a leader in the geospatial and environmental engineering space. The plan is for the tester to convert to a full time employee within the 6-12 month mark, in which they will then receive more individual responsibilities, phone allowance, stock options and full benefits. On a day to day basis the tester will be sent dispatch information to their phone the day before . Day to day will include testing and inspecting concrete and field density materials will be required to complete and then reported into their phone. An ACI certification is not required before starting, as the company will pay for the certification upon full time hire, however prior certification would be a major plus. While the majority of the work will be completing inspections further inspections may be required on other geospatial material. The ideal candidate will be able to work 40-55 hours a week.
