Please see Additional Information section below.*** You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the OKINAWA CONSOLIDATION of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER. Responsibilities You will provide support to the Program Manager for Government of Japan (GOJ) Construction Programs. You will attend preconstruction conferences with Army construction inspectors, Marine Corps users, and GOJ contractors. You will coordinate contractor requirements for power outages, road closing, temporary building sites, borrow pits, and disposal. You will inspect the work in progress at construction sites and takes part in the final inspection of completed projects. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing construction program support AND coordination of planning, design, equipment procurement and construction on new facilities in direct support of the operational readiness of operating units.
