Adecco is hiring immediately for an Engineering Technician at a local client in Austin, TX. Engineering Technicians do essential jobs with one of our premier clients, with starting pay at $23.00-$26.00/hr. As an Engineering Technician, you will be performing complex testing, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on electro/mechanical systems, working with intricate schematics, diagrams, and verbal/written instructions, often with minimal documentation. The role involves performing mechanical, soldering, and repair duties, writing detailed technical reports and test procedures, conducting operational tests and fault isolation, diagnosing and resolving system malfunctions, collaborating with other teams to address undefined issues, and assisting or mentoring junior technicians with complex tasks. Requirements: · 1-2 years of previous experience · AS level degree in electronics technology or equivalent or Military Technical experience and 3 years directly related experience; or BSEET level degree and 1-2 years directly related experience. · Ability to lift up to 35lbs. · Requires strong skills in change management, problem solving, communication, customer orientation, personal effectiveness, team skills, and quality. · Must have knowledge of the use of hand tools and some power tools such as a drill press, impact wrench, power saw, etc. · Knowledge of systems and software necessary to perform job function such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle Manufacturing Inquiry and View, and/or PDM a must · Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
