Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree or equivalent and three years related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Parking access gate experience. Experience with point-of-sale systems. Communication networking experience. Software support experience. Server support experience.

Job Summary:

To provide intermediate level specialized skills in the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of scientific, electronic, computer, or mechanical equipment.

Job Duties:

Develops and tests machinery, and computer or electronic equipment. Draws detail drawings or sketches for fabrication. Devises or assembles new or modified mechanical or electronic components. Conducts tests to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control. Repairs, calibrates, and maintains equipment. Consults with medical or research personnel to ascertain that equipment functions properly and safely. Repairs equipment and utilizes machinery, and electronic or computer instrumentation. UTMB Auxiliary Enterprises’ equipment maintenance and repairs. Equipment spare part inventory management. Adheres to internal controls established for department. Performs related duties as required.

Salary:

Actual salary commensurate with experience.
