Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be a specialist in Engineering tools implementation, integrations, maintenance and support, with a focus on Windchill, Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). The role requires expertise in leveraging REST APIs and middleware solutions like Mulesoft to achieve seamless tool integration. A strong understanding of business processes and workflows is essential, as this role will ensure that systems are designed to optimize and align with organizational goals and business processes. In addition to the above, a strong understanding of change management & control, as well as interchangeability concepts in engineering is essential. The work model for the role is: #LI - OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors & Generators Division in Vadodara, India.You will be mainly accountable for:o\tAdminister and maintain engineering tools, including Windchill & Teamcenter PLM.o\tEvaluate, implement, and upgrade engineering software tools as requiredo\tImplement (and potentially even design) integrations between engineering tools and enterprise systems using REST APIs or Mulesoft middleware.o\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and ensure successful implementation.o\tAnalyze (and document) existing business processes and workflows and conduct fit gap analysis to understand requirements for further tailoring of global solutions to local needs.o\tImplement workflows in engineering tools to enhance productivity and compliance. Develop additional workflows for local solutions.o\tWork closely with engineering, IT (i.e. PLM community), and business teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.o\tProvide technical guidance and support to stakeholders during implementation and post-deployment phases.

Qualifications for the role

o\tBachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or IT.o\t5-10 years of experience in Engineering tool design and management.o\tStrong skills in Developer/Data Architecture and Platform technologies.o\tProficiency with Citrix and SQL Server.o\tExperience with application syntax (Pascal, SQL) and logic development.o\tExpertise in Auto LISP programming and Common LISP programming.o\tKnowledge of Microsoft COM Automation/ActiveX & REST APIs or Mulesoft middleware.o\tExperience with ITK, C++, and Java Plugin customization and deployment in RAC and AWC environments.
