Job Summary:

The Engineering Wafer Test Technician will support the engineering wafer test activities at our Santa Clara headquarters and at local manufacturing partners. Major responsibilities will be to set up and operate wafer probers and test equipment, perform hardware and software troubleshooting, manage test hardware inventory, and support activities related to new test system development. The Engineering Wafer Test Technician will report to the Sr. Manager of Systems Test Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Perform setup and operation of wafer probers

• Perform electronic hardware and software troubleshooting and debug

• Manage inventory and repair of test hardware

• Perform basic modification or debug of test software

• Assist with development and bring-up of new test hardware

• Assist as needed with other areas related to test engineering development

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in semiconductor industry

• High school diploma; AS or BS in Engineering or a related field is a plus

• Hands-on experience running and maintaining wafer probers; Accretech prober knowledge is a plus

• Experience setting up product files and wafermaps on probers

• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook

• Hands on experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters

• Experience with assembling cables and soldering/rework is a plus

• Ability to read electrical schematics; experience debugging electronic hardware is a plus

 Base pay is one part of SiTime’s Total Rewards Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity-based compensation.
