Engineering Worker (FT- 1 FTE)

Position Summary:
The Engineering Worker provides the daily mechanical operations of the hospital, medical office buildings, physical plant and grounds. They are also responsible for security during dayshift hours by locking and unlocking of buildings, security systems, and responding to Code Gray pages.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or EquivalentOne year technical trade school or equivalent training in electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC or CarpentryMontana Licensure (Boiler) required within 14 months of hireEssential Job Functions:
Performs repairs and/ or trouble-shoots equipment and/or facility problemsPerforms preventative maintenance on equipment or systems on a scheduled basisPerforms daily rounds through areas of responsibility and make repairs as requiredConsults with customer departments on equipment replacement, facility renovations and/or interior improvementWorks with vendors or contractors to coordinate necessary facility repairs or renovationsDocumentation of completed work ordersKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
