We are seeking an English Language Coordinator and Instructor. The position will teach and oversee English language curriculum and instruction at the advanced level for the non-native graduate student population and manage the Writing Center at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. In addition, the individual in this position will administer placement tests for incoming non-native English-speaking students and language proficiency exams to ensure students have met their degree requirements for graduation. This position is directly responsible for the academic and administrative organization of English language training and support.
The Language Studies Program (LSP) contributes to the school's mission of enabling its students to better understand the world and improve it through the instruction of language and culture in the context of international relations.
