Open Position Position: ENL Teacher 1.0 Probationary (2 positions) (Posting number 2425-3244) Location: District Wide Start Date: February 1, 2025 Requirements: + Must have NYS K-12 ESL Certification + Collaborate with classroom ELA teachers to provide co-teaching ELLs in an integrated setting + Provide individualized support to ELLs through Stand Alone setting + Consult with instructional staff to best support English language development for ELLs + Working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students Responsibilities: + Provides comprehensive instruction in the District approved curriculum + Integrates literacy skills and strategies within the academic program, ensuring that all students are able to access text and communicate understanding through writing + Demonstrates a deep and rich knowledge of subject area and the ability to convey it to the students + Maintains accurate and timely student records available for teacher, student or parent reference Salary: As per current Webster Teacher Association (WTA) Contract based on experience and education.
