This role will involve, but is not limited to:

Provide education on the pre-operative admissions process to our patients. Ensure patients are admitted, prepared and ready for theatre. Ensure that all pre-operative notes, x-rays, pathology, ECGs, medical alert forms, pressure area care assessment and pre-operative check lists are completed with all variances reported to the appropriate person and documented.

Your Skills and Experience

Relevant current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse (IV qualified) Minimum 2 years’ experience in acute nursing Experience within the day surgery setting is highly desirable Post graduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing specialities will be highly regarded

 

Overall, you will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and demonstrate a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

 

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $35.78 - $39.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD EEN level 1-2 gr1-gr6)

Requirements

Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases. Sponsorship is not available for this role at this stage
