Job Title: Enrollment Specialist(REMOTE)

Anticipated Start Date: 10/01/2024

Job Type: Contract (40 hrs a week)
Pay Rate: $15 - $17/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for the maintenance of membership records.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience with managed care servicing Medicaid and Medicare is preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Attention to detail
Familiarity of the healthcare field
Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare preferred
Critical listening and thinking skills
Proper grammar usage
Time management skills
Proper phone etiquette
Customer service oriented
Decision making/problem solving
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review membership records, respond to work queues, communicate new membership to appropriate parties,
Review files, interpret the data and enter members into eligibility systems
Completion of appropriate notifications of eligibility to internal and external customers
Access state and government systems to review eligibility status
Completion of daily pre-processor exceptions
Inbound phone coverage to answer inquiries from both internal and external customers
Perform other job-related functions as requested
