The Enrollment Specialist assumes a vital role in orchestrating a seamless campus experience and cultivating a warm environment for students in the enrollment funnel, and external partner. This position will report to the Associate Director of Admissions. **Responsibilities:** + Oversee and implement comprehensive leadership development programs (Student Ambassadors) that serve as a primary enrollment strategy. This includes hiring, training, and supervising all participants. + Utilize the student leadership programs strategically to help advance the enrollment goals of the College while simultaneously providing valuable experience for the participants. + Plan and execute comprehensive campus visitation programs, ensuring exemplary customer service in support of college enrollment goals. + Coordinate and serve as the point person for running all on campus recruitment, yield, and retention events, including Open House, College for a Day, and other specialized programs. + Foster partnerships and collaborate with campus partners and departments to facilitate collaborative opportunities for recruitment of new incoming class, and for student leadership growth and engagement. + Work closely with the communications and social media team to strategically enhance the College’s digital media, including the website and social media channels, presence by creating well written and organized content and utilize student leaders in support of enrollment goals. + Oversee on-campus visit/tour program and serve as the main point of contact for visiting groups, high school counselors, students, and parents. + Implement assessment tools and metrics to gauge the effectiveness and impact of student leaderships programs (Student Ambassadors). + Manage special projects and assignments as needed, demonstrating flexibility for occasional evening and weekend commitments. **QUALIFICATIONS** Bachelor’s degree and four years’ related experience required. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience working with student development/leadership programs. + Strong customer service orientation. + Exceptional oral and written communication skills. + Knowledge of higher education enrollment trends. + Flexibility and resourcefulness working in a fast-paced environment. + A high level of organization and attention to detail. Ability to effectively communicate with senior level leadership and faculty members. + Capacity to work efficiently and independently on multiple tasks. + Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple groups of people. + A valid driver’s license is required. + This position requires travel, evening, and weekend work. + Experience conducting presentations to diverse audiences, both in-person and virtually. + Knowledge of admissions, recruitment, or enrollment management best practices. **CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW** Administers enrollment processes and related functions. - Collaborates with management team in the development of admission and enrollment goals, strategies, and initiatives; participates in planning enrollment events. - Analyzes and interprets quantitative and qualitative student enrollment data to prepare reports for management. - Recommends and implements improvements to existing technical systems and office operations. - Serves as resource reference to interpret and comply with University and College enrollment policies. - Prepares and reviews student communication materials. - May coordinate aspects of student entry from point of allocation to include orientation, advisement, and collection of admitted student documents. - May supervise office operations and/or department budget - Performs related duties as assigned.
