Job Description

If you enjoy hunting new business and the thrill of the WIN, along with building relationships with future customers, then you're whom we're looking for to grow our sales team! With uncapped earning potential, the Senior Account Executive will be part of our dynamic sales organization, responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities. You will qualify leads, identify decision-makers, determine customer needs, present and demonstrate our solutions, overcome objections, and close sales, making you the owner of the full sales cycle. As a new AE to insightsoftware, you'll receive training and development with tremendous opportunities for advancement for top performers! You will report to the VP of Sales and this is a remote position

What will you do?

Develop and execute sales plans and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunitiesDevelop and manage sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue quotasUse a consultative approach to diagnose our customer's needsRemain highly knowledgeable of company products and target industries to facilitate sales effortsPractice effective, excellent communication with management, customers, and support staffWIN – close deals and acquire new customersOwn your accounts, and own your account and contact development, pipeline generation and forecast

Are you a fit?

Bachelor's degree5+ years software sales experience requiredExperience managing and closing complex sales-cyclesAble to manage a top-tier named account list of Fortune 1000 companiesExperience in lease (financing, administration, accounting) for equipment and real estate is a plusComfortable interacting with C-suite, in particular the Office of the CFOTrack record of over-achieving quotaAbility to work from homeAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAdisciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals, and achieving resultsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including cold calls, proposal preparation, and presentation skillsMust have energy, drive, commitment, and passion

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of applicable experience (Enterprise sales, Fortune 1000, 3 to 9 month sales cycles)Finance background (ie: ability to sell financial software to the office of the CFO)

Preferred Qualifications:

Equipment leasing experience (financing, administration, compliance) is a plusCorporate Real Estate experience is a plusAccounting experience is a plusFamiliar with salesforce, salesloft, highspot, and other key sales toolsExperience with Meddic/MeddpiccExperience selling SaaS applicationsExcellent communication, client and time management, negotiation and presentation skillsAbility to communicate effectively with c-suite executivesAbility to evaluate sound business opportunities, resolve conflicts, close deals and meet/exceed revenue goalsDemonstrated ability to find, manage and close high-level business within a named account list of new and existing customersAbility to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making and persuade othersAbility to manage a large number of prospect situations simultaneously while positioning solutions against direct and indirect competitors
