As a critical part of our enterprise account management team, you will have direct interaction with some of our most high value, largest and most complex customers. You will be able to solve problems for some of the largest eCommerce retailers in Australia and work to develop and grow accounts.
You will apply large account management practices that help us to delight our customers and sustainably grow our revenue in the portfolio. This portfolio is currently overperforming, so it’s a question of taking an already successful portfolio to the next level and seeing those real long term benefits.
About the opportunity

You will be the single point of accountability for a portfolio of enterprise customers, and have end to end ownership of customer accounts, relationships, revenue and sales and the delivery of contracted services.
What you’ll deliver with us
The role will drive a strategic approach to account and service planning for its portfolio, and is accountable for building senior relationships, retaining existing revenue, driving sustainable growth and new business, partner across the organisation to deliver contracted services, driving improvements in service quality through MSM and leveraging Australia Post’s subject matter experts.
You’ll also
• Develop and implement customer-centric strategic account plans to effectively prioritise sales and service effort, protect existing revenue, and ensure a deliberate approach to maximising revenue growth of AP’s enterprise and government accounts.
• Manage account relationships by leading regularly planned sales and service calls with Senior Executive level stakeholders to explore pain points and ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Engage with customers on key retention activities through the full lifecycle of the customer contract, including renewing existing contracts, conducting annual price reviews, and reviewing surcharge compliance.
• Identify and qualify opportunities within customer accounts to cross sell multi-product and/or complex solutions, drawing on Product, Operations and Solutions Specialists as required to build, propose and close these new business contracts.
• Deliver a seamless customer experience by coordinating engagement and interaction between the customer and AP’s specialists across all activities, including service, sales, solution design, product and implementation.
• Document all sales and account management activity in Salesforce to provide AP’s sales enablement functions (e.g. Sales Operations, Segment Development, etc.) with quality data to develop appropriate improvement strategies and initiatives.
About you
You will have experience in sales, managing challenging customer accounts and developing business. You will be a long term thinker, committed to becoming an expert in the freight industry and helping customers succeed.
