A client of Kforce's in Denver, CO is hiring for an Enterprise Application Support Analyst. This is a hybrid position with two days onsite.
Overview:
The Enterprise Applications Support Analyst plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the company's diverse application landscape. This position is responsible for overseeing application support activities in collaboration with providers, leading application deployment, upgrades, and integration projects, contributing to portfolio rationalization and lifecycle planning.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Application Support - Oversee support activities in collaboration with providers, ensuring effective incident management, issue resolution, and continuous service improvement
* Project Management - Lead the deployment of new applications, integration across sites, upgrade projects, etc. ensuring adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices, coordinating stakeholders, and managing risks translating into effective project delivery
* Application Portfolio Management & Rationalization - Assess the current application landscape, identify outdated or redundant applications and contribute to rationalization efforts to optimize costs and performance
* Application Roadmap & Lifecycle Planning - Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for applications, ensuring alignment with business needs, technology trends, and the long-term IT strategy
* License Management - Analyze applications license usage to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with vendor agreements
* Audit support: Support audit requests related to the Applications Controls framework
