Purpose of the Role

 

As an Enterprise Architect, you will drive IT Architecture Governance with the understanding of business needs, business requirements and define the target application landscape and Technology Roadmap within the OE, aligning with the Group IT Strategy and Architecture. You will lead architecture review process and delivering solutions and infrastructure architecture as well as participate in the Regional Enterprise Architecture board and community activities.

 

Responsibilities of the Role

 

Manage Allianz PNB Life's Enterprise Architecture Blueprint and Roadmap.

 

Manage and visualize IT technology portfolio (selecting EA tools), including periodic reviews IT assets to assess health, gaps, duplications, and waste; make recommendations for optimization and rationalization of the portfolio.   Ensure the architecture strategies are aligned with Group Architecture standards. Ensure the architecture is compliant with various regulatory requirements.

 

Own the OE Architecture Documentation which should cover at minimum:

 

Application Landscape – summarizing which Business Applications are used in the OE’s business activities also including externally operated Business Applications and end-user created Business Applications. Technology Landscape – summarizing which IT Components and IT Services are used as a basis to build the Business Applications also including externally operated IT Services and open-source IT Components. Relationships to Strategic Architecture Framework – relating the Business Applications, IT Components and IT Services to the target architectures, Architecture Standards, and architecture guidelines from the Strategic Architecture Framework Ensure participation in the Regional Architecture Board and in the activities of the Regional Architecture community.

 

Ensure Architecture and Design governance for IT projects and programs.

 

Take significant role in establishing and leading governance processes such as architecture reviews etc. to ensure the selected technologies and designs align with the IT enterprise plans and designs.

 

Develop technology focused IT component solutions easily understood by our business colleagues and show how IT plans for solution delivery that meets their business objectives within cost and time boundaries.

 

Regularly communication and collaborate with various IT and business teams.

 

Ensure guidance and support in IT Risk management through Enterprise Architecture. 

 

Coordinating with IT management, information security and OE risk management team in assessment of IT initiatives, assets or programs and providing recommendations.

 

Reporting on risks and security impact from EA perspective.
