Summary
The Enterprise Architect will play a critical role in aligning the technical architecture and business processes of merging or acquired organizations with the core organization. This role requires a strategic thinker who can assess, plan, and collaborate on the integration of diverse technology environments to ensure seamless business operations and maximize value from M&A activities. The candidate would have the most overarching view of the organization(s) and knowledge of its capabilities and potential.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Required Experience & Skills:
5+ years of experience in IT architecture, with experience in mergers and acquisitions. Experience with business processes – quote to cash, project services workflow systems. Certified with TOGAF and knowledge applied in real-world scenarios. Experience with a multitude of technology platforms, both legacy and modern. Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale IT integration projects. Experience with cloud computing, data management, networks, enterprise applications, and interoperability of each. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards. Knowledge of insurance business processes and enterprise-grade technologies that support those processes. Experience with SAP Cloud systems and architecture. Experience with MS Azure platform, particularly Azure well-architected framework. Experience with distributed teams
Essential Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. (Regularly). The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. (office & hybrid roles). (Occasionally). Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. (Regularly).
