Job Overview The Enterprise Architect's main duties include: designing, validating, and implementing technology infrastructure and processes, working at the highest tier of technical expertise within the organization, and covering multiple technical disciplines, such as: systems & networking infrastructure, DevOps, security, business applications, and data architecture. This role designs, plans, documents, tests, executes, trains, and provides escalated support for multiple technology platforms. This position identifies and oversees the mitigation of technical and operational threats; analyzes the security, supportability, and feasibility of new technology; and ensures conformance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices. This position requires an extremely high level of analytical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technology issues in addition to superlative process management and communication skills. Work Model: Hybrid Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: Identify and design technology solutions that fulfill business requirements and conform to security, supportability, reliability, and performance standards. Create and communicate technology project and service implementation road-maps, plans, documentation, and training. Champion and facilitate the successful implementation of mission-critical technology and applications as developed in the architectural roadmap. Analyze emerging technology solutions, conduct technical risk assessments, and summarize due-diligence recommendations. Champion digital strategy development, investment, socialization, and execution. Lead technical collaborations on behalf of the organization with technology vendors. Ensure the alignment of corporate systems to architecture and that the architecture is creating value to business needs. Respond to escalated cybersecurity, compliance, business, and technical risks. Develop well written and clearly communicated principles, standards, and reference architecture design for multiple technology domains. Performs related work as assigned. May supervise others in related disciplines. Job Requirements Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree in business information systems (IS), finance, computer science, technology, engineering, or another related field. Demonstrated five plus year history of designing, implementing, and supporting mission-critical technology. Demonstrated five plus years of business experience in strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis. Knowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and risk management. Possess or be able to obtain with first 90 days a DoD 8570 IAM-III or IAT III Certification. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government National Agency Check (NAC) clearance and/or security clearance if required. Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English to perform contract requirements and comply with emergency procedures. Ability to successfully pass any employment background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract. Valid state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position. Must be U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.
