KBR is seeking an Enterprise Systems Architect to be responsible for analyzing existing architectures to support documentation, roadmaps, and other recommended improvements for architectural alignments.
This is a contingent position based upon contract award.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Analyze existing architectures and recommend architectural improvements in line with the Architecture Management Plan
Analyze via Analysis of Alternatives pre-contract architectures, reference models, and artifacts to recommended solutions to identified capability gaps
Experience with managing architectures at multiple levels as well as developing and integrating subordinate systems into the higher level architectures
Experience and expertise conducting strategic planning activities and producing strategic products for Major System Acquisitions (MSA) and Special Interest Acquisitions
Experience and expertise of managing all aspects of the Systems Engineering lifecycle processes to include Concept Definition, System Definition, System Realization, System Development and Use, System Engineering Management, Product and Service Life Management, and Systems Engineering Standards
Experience building business case studies against analysis to capture cost, schedule, performance, and risks
Develop technology insertion roadmaps, reference architectures, and assessments
Develop strategic communication positions on architecture-related topics and products, formulate organization task requests, and recommend improvements to architecture-related efforts and processes
Support relevant joint architecting routine and ad-hoc forums; to include development of agendas and objectives, coordination of meetings, attendees, and logistics; and development and processing of minutes and actions
Draft, review, and update briefings, point papers, position papers, reports, proof of concept models, and other communications
Develop enterprise outreach materials, conduct outreach, and support outreach activities Other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Doctorate Degree and 8 years or more of related experience
Master’s Degree and 10 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of experience can be substituted in place of Doctorate degree requirement
Can work independently
Experience working in the Intelligence Community
Knowledge of AI/ML
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication and coordination skills
Travel Requirements:
Travel Required: CONUS and OCONUS may be required; Up to 10%
